Double Pilot Operated Check Valve
The Helesul Double Pilot Operated Check Valve is a control component designed to block flow in both work lines and release return flow only when opposite pilot pressure is applied. Developed for agricultural and hydraulic applications requiring reliable load holding, it helps keep cylinders and actuators in the commanded position, reducing unintended movement and loss of stability. Its integration into the circuit supports safer, more precise and more productive operation in equipment exposed to intensive duty cycles. Helesul assists in defining the solution according to system requirements, preparing the project for the application’s technical details.

The double pilot operated check valve is suitable for hydraulic circuits in agricultural machinery, implements, material-handling equipment and double-acting cylinder assemblies. It supports lifting, tipping, opening and closing structures, boom positioning, stabilization and any actuation requiring a load to remain held without uncommanded displacement.
In sprayers, planters, harvesters and towed implements, pilot-operated load holding helps preserve actuator position during transport, operation and cycle pauses. In mobile and industrial systems, it also supports controlled line locking, improving motion predictability and operational safety.
The valve includes check functions in both work ports. When pressurized flow feeds one side of the actuator, pilot pressure opens the corresponding check on the opposite side and enables controlled fluid return. Without that pilot signal, the check valves stay closed and help hold cylinder position.
This operating principle reduces drift associated with internal circuit leakage and helps protect against unexpected load lowering or movement. The result is improved stability, better operator control and more effective machine cycles.
When specified according to pressure, connections, flow and circuit architecture, the solution integrates efficiently and supports more focused maintenance work. Helesul engineering guides this process to match the component to the equipment’s actual function.
